On March 19th, Southern Finance and Economics reported that Novo Nordisk announced on its official WeChat account that it will invest approximately 4 billion yuan in a sterile formulation expansion project in Tianjin, with the entire project planned to be completed by 2027. Previously, in the first quarter of 2023, Novo Nordisk invested 1.18 billion yuan to launch a finished product workshop expansion project and introduce a pre filled injection pen production line. The expansion project of sterile formulation production will adopt globally leading isolator technology, providing a higher level of sterile guarantee for formulation production.
