The company stated that it will ground its test fleet, replace faulty components, and identify the cause of the problem. The company stated that the component is a structural part between the engine and the body, and has notified federal regulatory agencies and customers of the relevant situation.
It is reported that Boeing has an order for 540 new aircraft, with plans to begin delivery in 2025. It is currently unclear whether this issue will have an impact on the delivery date of the aircraft.
