United Airlines Boeing 777 aircraft returns to San Francisco International Airport due to mechanical failure

According to CCTV news, on March 18th local time, a United Airlines Boeing 777 aircraft bound for Japan returned to San Francisco International Airport due to mechanical failure.
It is reported that the aircraft was originally scheduled to fly from San Francisco to Osaka at 12:05 local time, and after taxiing for over an hour, it returned to the boarding gate. The passengers and crew disembarked at around 1:45 pm. According to a passenger on the flight, the pilot stated that the aircraft's "right engine has malfunctioned" but did not provide any additional information.
A spokesperson for United Airlines stated in a statement that the company currently has no further information to share.
It is reported that, including this incident, American airlines have experienced at least 10 similar incidents in the past two weeks.
