On January 12th, Tesla's official website in China was updated to adjust the prices of the Model 3/Y rear wheel drive and long range versions, with a reduction range of 6500 to 15500 yuan. After adjustment, the starting price of Model 3 is 245900 yuan, and the starting price of Model Y is 258900 yuan.
According to Tesla, the Chinese market is the world's lowest priced Tesla sales market. Taking the Model Y rear wheel drive version as an example, the starting price in the Chinese market is 258900 yuan, which is 100000 yuan cheaper than markets such as Germany, France, and Canada.
At the same time, after the price adjustment, the updated Model 3 and Model Y have ushered in the lowest prices in the history of the domestic market.
In the just concluded year of 2023, Tesla produced approximately 1.85 million electric vehicles worldwide and delivered approximately 1.81 million, with year-on-year growth of approximately 35% and 38%, respectively. While successfully achieving its annual delivery target of 1.8 million vehicles, Tesla has also won the top spot in the global pure electric vehicle delivery volume list.
