With the end of the "Silver Ten", various new car making forces have handed over an impressive report card.
Ideal leads the delivery list of new forces in October, with HarmonyOS returning to 40000 vehicles. Zero Run, Deep Blue, Extreme Krypton, Xiaopeng, and others have all achieved record high monthly delivery volumes. Lantu, Avita, Zhiji, and others have achieved over 10000 deliveries, but Nezha has disappeared from the list of new forces in October. As of the time of publication, no data has been released.

Zero Run hits 40000 monthly sales
In October, Ideal firmly ranked first on the delivery list of new forces with 51400 vehicles, an increase of 27% year-on-year. It is reported that the low-priced model Ideal L6 is still the biggest contributor, with monthly deliveries accounting for about 50%.
As of October, the company has cumulatively delivered 393300 vehicles, achieving 81.9% of the annual delivery target of 480000 vehicles. If the monthly average of 50000 vehicles delivered in November and December is maintained, the ideal goal for the whole year can be achieved. But Ideal has no new cars launched this year, and industry insiders believe that the company may increase its "price war" efforts to ensure delivery volume.
Hongmeng Zhixing's delivery volume followed closely behind, achieving delivery of 41600 vehicles in October. Among them, 16000 units of Wenjie M9 were delivered; Wanjie M7 has delivered 15800 vehicles, and has delivered over 170000 vehicles this year; The Zhijie R7 delivered 4730 vehicles, and data shows that during the National Day holiday alone, the number of vehicles is expected to exceed 10000.
As of October, Hongmeng Zhixing has sold a total of 353600 vehicles, achieving 70.72% of the annual delivery target of 500000 vehicles. In the next two months, Hongmeng Zhixing needs to achieve an average of 73200 vehicles per month to meet the annual target.
Aion's monthly sales reached 40000 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5%. This is the second time it has achieved sales of over 40000 vehicles this year, except for May. In the first 10 months, Aion's cumulative sales were 323800 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 17.5%, and the annual target was only achieved at 46.26%.
However, some industry insiders predict that Aion's sales may see a surge in November, as its new model, the Aion RT, has accumulated over 28000 pre-sale orders since its release at the end of September. If the conversion rate of orders is considerable and production capacity can keep up, its sales in November will increase on the original basis. However, for this year's annual target, Aion has almost no hope of achieving it.
Zero Run completed the delivery of 38000 vehicles in October, a year-on-year increase of 109.7%, and began to sprint towards the monthly delivery of 40000 vehicles. On the evening of October 31st, the chairman of the company, Zhu Jiangming, revealed on his social media that the Zero Run broke the order record again in October, with orders for the C10, C11, and C16 models all exceeding 10000 yuan.
In the first 10 months, the cumulative sales volume of Zero Run was 211000 units. At the beginning of the year, the senior management set a sales target of 250000 to 300000 units for the whole year. Based on this, it has achieved 70.7% or 84.4% of the annual target. This means that in the next two months, the monthly average sales volume of Zero Run needs to be 19500 or 44500 units. Based on the current momentum of reaching 40000 units, the delivery target of at least 250000 units is basically feasible, while 300000 units will need to be further pushed forward.
20000 new members added to the 'club'
Thanks to the continued popularity of the "Silver Ten" market, Deep Blue, Extreme Krypton, Xiaopeng, and NIO have steadily delivered over 20000 vehicles per month, marking Xiaomi's first entry into this camp as a "newcomer".
In October, the sales of Deep Blue reached 27900 units, a year-on-year increase of 79.6%. The brand received 36300 orders for all models in October alone, and the company stated that it will do its utmost to ensure delivery. In the first 10 months, the cumulative sales of Deep Blue reached 179400 units, achieving 64.07% of the annual target. If we want to achieve our goal, we need to sell 50300 vehicles per month in the remaining two months, which is almost impossible to achieve.
Jike followed closely with 25000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 91.55%. Yang Xueliang, Senior Vice President of Geely Holding Group, stated that Jike will launch a push towards monthly sales of 30000 vehicles. As of October, the company's cumulative sales reached 167900 vehicles, achieving 73% of the annual sales target. Jike CEO An Conghui has expressed confidence in achieving the annual target of 230000 vehicles at multiple media communication meetings, which implies that Jike's monthly average delivery in the next two months will reach 31100 vehicles.
Thanks to the large delivery of the Xiaopeng M03, the entire Xiaopeng series achieved a monthly delivery of 23900 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 19.57%. In the first ten months, its cumulative delivery reached 122500 vehicles, while Xiaopeng, which made efforts at the end of the year, only achieved 43.75% of the annual delivery target of 280000 vehicles, which is far from enough.
NIO has achieved monthly deliveries of over 20000 vehicles for six consecutive months, with 21000 vehicles delivered in October and a total of 170300 vehicles delivered in the first 10 months. The annual target has been achieved by 74%.
Xiaomi also delivered over 20000 vehicles for the first time in October, with a cumulative delivery of over 76000 vehicles. Xiaomi stated that the factory will continue to increase production and is expected to achieve its annual delivery target ahead of schedule in November.
Jihu, Lantu, Avita, and Zhiji exceeded 10000 units in October, and with the acceleration of multiple new car deliveries, the delivery volume of these "second-generation cars" is expected to increase again in the future.
BYD surpasses 500000 vehicles
In addition to new forces, several traditional car companies also announced their sales performance in the first place.
BYD, as the leader in domestic new energy, set a new sales record in October, with monthly sales exceeding 500000 vehicles for the first time, reaching 500500 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 66.2%. This is also the first time BYD's monthly sales have exceeded 500000 units, setting a record for Chinese car companies and breaking the global record for monthly sales of new energy vehicles.
Among them, the two major series, Wangchao Net and Haiyang Net, dominated the sales, with a total sales volume of 483000 units in October. Tengshi Automobile sold 11000 units, Equation Leopard sold 6026 units, and Wangwang sold 282 units.
In September this year, BYD's monthly sales of new energy vehicles just exceeded 400000 units, reaching 419426 units. In October, it once again exceeded 500000 units. BYD is racing ahead, and the market predicts that it will achieve the production of its 10 millionth new energy vehicle in November.
As of the end of October, BYD's sales this year have reached 3.251 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 36.5%. The cumulative sales have surpassed last year's total, and the annual sales are expected to hit 4 million vehicles.
Chery sold 272000 vehicles in October, a year-on-year increase of 35.9%. Among them, the number of new energy vehicles exceeded 70000 for the first time, reaching 71000, a year-on-year increase of up to 342.1%. In the first ten months, its cumulative sales reached 2.025 million vehicles, surpassing last year's annual sales. It is worth noting that nearly half of Chery's sales came from overseas, and the export volume to overseas markets in the first ten months reached 941000 vehicles, accounting for 46.47% of the total sales.
Changan sold 250800 vehicles in the month, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%, of which 85000 vehicles were sold as domestic brand new energy vehicles. In the first 10 months, Changan's cumulative sales reached 2.156 million vehicles, of which 533000 were self owned new energy vehicles.
For the annual target of 2.8 million vehicles set by the group, the current completion rate is 77%. In the remaining two months, Changan aims to achieve an average of 322000 vehicles per month. Based on the current monthly sales situation, there is basically no hope.
Geely's monthly sales were 227000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 28%, with a cumulative total of 1.716 million vehicles in the first 10 months. Among them, the sales of new energy vehicles reached 109000 units, a year-on-year increase of 83%, with a cumulative sales of 655000 units in the first ten months.
In terms of exports, Geely has begun to accelerate, with an export volume of 33000 vehicles in October and a cumulative export of 347000 vehicles in the first 10 months, a year-on-year increase of 62%.
Great Wall Motors is one of the few traditional car companies with a year-on-year decline in monthly sales. As an "old cannon" in the automotive industry, Great Wall Motors only sold 117000 vehicles in October, a year-on-year decline of 11.1%, including only 32000 new energy vehicle models. In the first 10 months, the cumulative sales of Great Wall reached 971000 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 2.5%.
In October, the only brand under Great Wall Motors with a year-on-year positive sales growth changed from Tank to Wei, with a year-on-year increase of 187.5% to 6486 vehicles. Due to its low proportion to 5.55%, it had little impact on overall sales.
For Great Wall Motors, which has a target of 1.6 million vehicles for the whole year, it will not be able to achieve the annual target for the remaining two months unless the monthly average sales reach 314500 vehicles.
