Ideal Automobile: Fully push no image NOA within July

On July 5th, at the 2024 intelligent driving summer press conference, Ideal Automobile announced that it will launch the "nationwide" no map NOA to all Ideal AD Max users in July, and will also launch fully automatic AES (automatic emergency steering) and all-around low-speed AEB (automatic emergency braking) in July. At the same time, Ideal Automobile has released a new autonomous driving technology architecture based on end-to-end models, VLM visual language models, and world models, and has launched the Early Bird Plan for the new architecture.
It is reported that in terms of intelligent driving products, imageless NOA no longer relies on high-precision maps or prior information, and can be used in navigation coverage areas nationwide. With the help of spatiotemporal joint planning capabilities, it brings a smoother detour experience. The imageless NOA also has the ability to navigate and select routes at ultra long line of sight, allowing for smooth passage at complex intersections.
Fan Haoyu, Senior Vice President of the Product Department of Ideal Automobile, said, "From May this year when Ideal Automobile launched the first batch of 1000 experience users, to June when it expanded the scale of experience users to over 10000, it has accumulated over a million kilometers of no map NOA driving mileage across the country. After the full promotion of no map NOA, 240000 Ideal AD Max owners will use the current leading intelligent driving products in China."
Lang Xianpeng, Vice President of Intelligent Driving Research and Development at Ideal Automobile, said, "From the launch of full stack self-development in 2021 to the release of a new autonomous driving technology architecture today, Ideal Automobile's autonomous driving research and development has never stopped exploring. We have combined end-to-end models and VLM visual language models to bring the industry's first solution to deploy dual systems in the automotive field, and also successfully deployed VLM visual language models on automotive chips for the first time. This industry-leading new architecture is a milestone technological breakthrough in the field of autonomous driving."
