On March 12th, the groundbreaking ceremony of iQiyi (Hengdian) Creative Center was held in Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province. It is reported that this is iQiyi's first independently invested and developed technology innovation comprehensive park, which will be built into a one-stop film and television technology industry cluster including film and television shooting, commercial services, crew hotels, catering and fitness, and other formats. The first phase of the project is planned to be completed in May 2026.
The total construction area of the first phase of the iQiyi (Hengdian) Creative Center project is about 141000 square meters, with iQiyi Technology and Entertainment innovative content as the core, integrating iQiyi film and television cultural themes. It has an industrial cluster in the "creative service sector" and a living cluster in the "intelligent life sector", providing large-scale training, roadshows, film and television shooting, accommodation and other services.
Gong Yu, the founder and CEO of iQIYI, said in a speech at the scene: "The commencement of iQIYI (Hengdian) Creative Center is a landmark step for iQIYI to promote the industrialization of film and television. After the completion of the project, it will play an important role in promoting the content production and ecological construction of iQIYI, and consolidate the foundation for high-quality development in the future.
