It is reported that Dingdong Maicai will continue to list seasonal fruits, with a total of over 70 items available throughout the year.
As a promotion channel for Huka Youpin and a member of the Huka E-commerce Cooperation Alliance, Dingdong Maicai has paved an efficient and direct market path for Xinjiang's characteristic fruits. According to Yang Youheng, the Director of Product Development at Dingdong Maicai, this year we will further expand the collection and sales of fruits in Xinjiang. The categories during the Xinjiang Fruit Festival include various honeydew melons, grape grapes, winter dates, peaches, apricots, and plums. It is expected that the monthly sales in July, August, and September will be 2000 tons, and the annual procurement will exceed 100 million yuan.
Data shows that since the launch of Xinjiang plums in early August, the sales of Dingdong Maicai plums have increased by 2.5 times on a weekly basis. "This year's Dafengshou (Salad of assorted fresh vegetables) of Xinjiang prunes is about 50% higher than that of last year, and the market price is nearly 1/3 lower than that of previous years," said Zhou Lifeng, an expert in the development of Dingdong vegetables and fruits. Under the dual influence of output and price, it is conservatively estimated that the sales of Dingdong vegetables this year will be 3-4 times higher than that of last year, breaking a new high. Zhou Lifeng said that this year, Dingdong Maicai has further optimized the supply chain of Ximei, not only eliminating the intermediary link for direct procurement from the production area, but also making efforts in loss control to benefit more consumers.
