At a meeting with Chinese merchants on Wednesday, Amazon announced a plan to launch a new channel on the platform that sells unknown brands of fashion and home products from China. The presentation shows that Amazon will pick up the goods directly from China and ship them to American consumers within 9 to 11 days after customer orders are placed. So far, the products sold by Chinese merchants to Amazon's US customers are usually transported through US warehouses.
A spokesperson for Amazon stated in an interview that the company has been exploring new ways to collaborate with sales partners, hoping to meet customers with more choices, lower prices, and greater convenience.
