Xiaopeng Huitian told Caixin News that this is also the first manned low altitude aircraft, including flying cars, to fly in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. Previously, the Action Plan for Promoting High Quality Development of Low Altitude Economic Industries in Beijing (2024-2027) (Draft for Comments) pointed out that Beijing will create a national innovation demonstration of low altitude flight applications, open up diverse application scenarios, establish commuting routes between Daxing Airport and Xiong'an New Area, Capital Airport and Tianjin, Langfang and other areas in intercity commuting, and explore new business formats of intercity commuting and intercity shuttle transportation using split type flying vehicles. Xiaopeng Huitian stated, "The company is preparing to mass produce and plans to launch pre-sales of Xiaopeng Huitian split type flying cars in the fourth quarter of this year, which can meet the needs of exploring intercity commuting with split type flying cars."
