Former Amazon AWS executive Tadao Nagasaki will lead OpenAI's Japan business

On April 15th, OpenAI announced the establishment of its first office in Asia in Tokyo, Japan, expanding its business to Asia and releasing a customized GPT-4 model optimized for Japanese language.
Former President of Amazon Cloud Computing (AWS) Japan, Tadao Nagasaki, will lead the OpenAI Japan business. He stated that the Tokyo office is OpenAI's third overseas branch established after London and Dublin, and the number of employees will increase to 10 to 20 this year.
OpenAI stated that the company has 2 million weekly active users in Japan, and its corporate clients include Daikin Industries, Lotte Group, and others.
