On November 15, 2024, at the 22nd Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Guangzhou Auto Show), Ford Motor unveiled its new hybrid models and diversified product lineup. Among them, the new Ford Lingrui plug-in hybrid SUV and the new Lingyu plug-in hybrid SUV were officially launched, becoming the focus of the exhibition.
At this auto show, the all-new Ford Lingrui plug-in hybrid SUV and the all-new Lingyu plug-in hybrid SUV were officially launched. Both models are equipped with CATL's high-power lithium iron phosphate battery pack and a 52.5Ah high-power battery cell specifically designed for hybrid models. The CLTC pure electric range is up to 115km and 110km respectively, and it has an industry-leading 14 minute 30% to 80% SOC fast energy replenishment efficiency. In addition, its external discharge function provides more convenience for outdoor activities such as camping.
In terms of power, the all-new Ford Lingrui/Lingyu plug-in hybrid SUV is equipped with a 1.5T hybrid dedicated engine, with a comprehensive system power of 270kW, a comprehensive torque of 555N · m, and a 0-100km/h acceleration of 7.5 seconds and 7.7 seconds respectively. At the same time, it achieves excellent performance in CLTC feed fuel consumption of 4.3L/100km and 4.75L/100km for the entire vehicle. The comprehensive range of the dual vehicle CLTC reaches 1324km and 1205km respectively, meeting the dual needs of users for long range and low fuel consumption.
In addition to the all-new Lingrui and Lingyu plug-in hybrid SUVs, the Ford "High Power E Hybrid" family also made a collective appearance, including the Ford Mondeo Sport, Ford Edge L, and Ford Mondeo 1.5T Hybrid. These models not only have strong power, but also low fuel consumption and do not require charging, effectively solving users' range anxiety and inconvenient charging problems.
Especially the Ford Mondeo 1.5T hybrid version, with a fuel consumption of as low as 3L per 100 kilometers, the cost of use is comparable to pure electric models, and it has a super long range of 1051 kilometers, bringing users a travel experience without range and scene anxiety. The Mondeo Sport, with its crossover coupe design, high passability, and powerful performance, became another highlight at the auto show.
In addition, Ford Motor also showcased a rich lineup of outdoor lifestyle products, including the pure blooded convertible off-road vehicle Ford Wrangler, the professional grade mountain weapon Ford Ranger, and the all-new Ford Explorer.
