According to well-known industry analyst Mark Gurman, the entry-level Vision headset that consumers have been eagerly anticipating is expected to be launched as early as next year. The upgraded version of Vision Pro equipped with more powerful chips is expected to be released in 2026.
Gurman revealed that Apple's Vision product team is intensively developing at least four innovative devices, indicating Apple's further expansion in the field of augmented reality (AR).
In terms of pricing strategy, this affordable Vision headset is expected to be priced at around $2000, achieved through the use of slightly lower performance processors, the use of more cost-effective materials, and the omission of specific "EyeSight" features. Despite cost control, the entry-level Vision headset does not compromise on visual experience and will share the high-quality display of Vision Pro.
In order to further optimize costs and user comfort, Apple has cleverly reduced the number of cameras, adjusted speaker specifications, and significantly reduced the overall weight of the device, ensuring that long-term wear is also comfortable and effortless.
