He believes that big models and generative AI will completely change the developer community.
"AI is igniting a creative revolution, and developing applications in the future is as simple as shooting a short video. Everyone is a developer, everyone is a creator."
According to Baidu, three out of the box tools have been prepared for developers, including Agent Builder, AI native application development tool AppBuilder, and various sizes of model customization tool ModelBuilder. "These three tools represent advanced productive forces."
On the spot, Robin Lee also shared Baidu's specific ideas on developing AI native applications, saying: "This is what we Baidu got from our practice in the past year, stepping on countless holes and paying high tuition fees." It is understood that the three ideas for developing AI native applications are MoE, small models and agents. "As a technology company, Baidu's role is to provide people with the development tools they need as much as possible and constantly improve the creativity of the whole society," said Robin Lee.
For the current popular multimodal large model, Robin Lee believes that it is the only way to AGI (General Artificial Intelligence). He said, "Looking towards the future, I believe that the integration of multimodal models, such as text, images, speech, video, etc., is a very important long-term development direction for basic models and a necessary path to AGI."
As for the judgment of the visual big model, Robin Lee made it clear that the biggest application scenario of the visual big model is automatic driving. "Baidu not only trains AI to generate videos, but also trains AI to understand what is happening in the real world and predict the future".
