On April 6th, Ideal Automobile clarified the recent false rumors that the Ideal L6 adopts a MacPherson suspension structure: The Ideal L6 adopts the front double wishbone and rear five link suspension structure commonly used in luxury mid to large SUVs. The minimum ground clearance of the Ideal L6 is 180mm, which is 4mm higher than the 2024 Ideal L9/L8/L7 with standard air suspension. The Ideal L6 is based on the second-generation extended range platform of Ideal Automobile, which took three years of research and development, with an investment of over 2 billion yuan. Ideal Automobile has also built a brand new production line for the Ideal L6, which is located in the Changzhou production base of the original Ideal ONE. The base is also producing the Ideal L9/L8/L7 at the same time. The Ideal L6 is a completely new product under positive development, specifically designed for young families as a luxury mid to large five seater SUV.
