Recently, NetEase Technology subsidiary Green Cloud Image officially signed a cooperation intention with global semiconductor giant Intel. The two sides will conduct technical cooperation based on Intel's next-generation BirchStream platform to jointly develop an immersive cooling system designed specifically for green and low-carbon data centers. This innovative measure marks a solid step for both sides in promoting the green transformation of data centers.
The collaboration between Green Cloud Map and Intel will be achieved through the innovative design of TANK and CPU heat pipes. By immersing the entire machine in liquid, it can more efficiently and quickly remove the heat inside the server, saving 30% overall computing power and energy efficiency compared to traditional air-cooled modes. After rigorous testing, Green Cloud Map and Intel will jointly create scenario applications based on immersion liquid cooling, jointly promoting the large-scale deployment and application of immersion liquid cooling solutions in data centers, and providing a more green and efficient high-performance computing environment for the entire industry.
Green Cloud Map is a leading provider of liquid cooling solutions in China, with nearly 100 technical patents. The series of liquid cooling solutions have been commercially available in fields such as cloud computing, integrated media, video rendering, and universities.
