According to the Tianyancha App, Guangdong Huitian Flying Car Co., Ltd. was recently established with a registered capital of 200 million US dollars. According to shareholder information, the company is wholly owned by HT Flying Car (Hong Kong) Limited, a subsidiary of Xiaopeng Motors.
It is understood that Guangdong Huitian Flying Automotive's business scope includes the manufacturing of automotive parts and accessories, intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing, industrial robot manufacturing, sales of new energy vehicles, industrial design services, and sales of intelligent unmanned aerial vehicles.
The reporter from Nancai News noticed that as early as January 2, 2024, Xiaopeng Motors announced that Guangdong Xiaopeng and Guangdong Huitian had signed a cooperation framework agreement, agreeing to cooperate in the research and development, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service of flying cars. Guangdong Xiaopeng will provide research and development services, technical consulting services, and sales agency services for Guangdong Huitian. The announcement shows that Guangdong Xiaopeng is mainly engaged in design and technology development, while Guangdong Huitian is mainly engaged in the research and development of flying cars.
Guangzhou Huangpu announced on July 4th that Guangzhou Development Zone, Huangpu District, and Xiaopeng Huitian have officially signed the "Xiaopeng Huitian Flying Vehicle Project Investment Cooperation Agreement". The research and development, intelligent manufacturing, and sales center of Xiaopeng Huitian Flying Vehicle will land in Guangzhou Development Zone and produce the flying body part of the split type flying vehicle "Land Carrier".
On August 5th, Xiaopeng Huitian announced that it had received a $150 million B1 round of financing and launched a B2 round of financing. Xiaopeng Huitian stated that this round of financing will ensure the realization of large-scale production and commercialization of Xiaopeng Huitian's flying car research and development. Xiaopeng Huitian is about to build the world's first large-scale production flying car factory using modern assembly lines in the Guangzhou Development Zone, which will first be used to produce the flying body part of the split flying car "land carrier".
