On June 22, the inaugural flight of EVTOL in Wencheng and the launch ceremony of "Low altitude Tour Wencheng" were held at the Tianding Lake International Tourism Resort in Wencheng County. EVTOL Intelligent Equipment (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. and Wencheng County Transportation Development Group Co., Ltd. jointly completed Wencheng's first unmanned aerial vehicle manned flight demonstration.
In the morning of that day, an unmanned electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL) carrying an experienced guest successfully took off from the Zhejiang Airlines No.1 style Tianhu takeoff and landing point. The real-time display of the eVTOL flight perspective on the large screen at the scene allowed people to experience the unique charm of Wencheng.
It is reported that the EH216-S unmanned electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft used by Yihang Intelligence in this demonstration has obtained the Model Certificate (TC), Standard Airworthiness Certificate (AC), and the world's first Production License (PC) issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China. It is currently the only unmanned electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with complete "three certificates", and has completed nearly 50000 safe flights in 16 countries worldwide.
At the ceremony, Zhejiang Zhiyi Drone Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Zhiyi Navigation Co., Ltd. were unveiled and established; Yihang Intelligent Equipment (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. is authorized as the general agent for Yihang eVTOL in the Zhejiang region for Zhejiang Zhiyi Drone Technology Co., Ltd.
On site, He Tianxing, Vice President of Yihang Intelligent Equipment (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., stated that Wencheng is located in the central area of the transportation map in southern Zhejiang, northern Fujian, and eastern Jiangxi, with abundant tourism resources and good airspace conditions within its territory. Yihang Intelligence will work together with Wencheng to establish the brand of a demonstration county for the application of low altitude economy in mountainous areas along the southeast coast. We will actively create various application scenarios such as "low altitude+cultural tourism", "low altitude+logistics", and "low altitude+emergency" to create new development momentum and advantages for the local area, and help Wencheng and even Zhejiang build a highland for low altitude economic development.
Secretary of the Wencheng County Party Committee, Luo Zhaozheng, stated that the next step is for Wencheng County to activate low altitude scenario applications, allowing typical scenario applications to "bloom everywhere" in Wencheng; Strengthening the development of low altitude industries and enabling diverse low altitude formats to take root in Wencheng; Improve low altitude service management, ensure safe and orderly air flight experience in Wencheng, accelerate the construction of a model county for high-quality development of low altitude economy, and contribute Wencheng's strength to the high-level construction of a strong civil aviation province in Zhejiang and the creation of a highland for low altitude economic development.
After the launch of the "Low altitude Tour Wencheng" activity, Wencheng County will launch five major tourism scenes (eVTOL experience tour, helicopter flyover tour, rotary sports tour, hot air balloon waterfall viewing tour, drone aerial photography tour), five low altitude travel routes (Baizhangji - Tianding Lake, Feiyun Lake, Longqiyuan, Anfu Temple, Tongling Mountain), and five discount gift packages (ticket discounts, hotel and homestay discounts, free experiences, travel packages, lucky draws, etc.), comprehensively promoting the expansion of ground tourism to low altitude tourism, and exploring the formation of a "regular flights+personal customization" low altitude tourism model.
