According to insiders, artificial intelligence leader Nvidia has recently agreed to acquire American software startup Shoreline.
Shoreline, headquartered in California, USA, is a startup aimed at software developers. Its founder and CEO, Anurag Gupta, was a former Vice President of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Shoreline was founded in 2019, and its software can identify problems and accidents in computer systems and help automatically fix them. According to data provider PitchBook, Shoreline has raised approximately $57 million and has received support from investors including Dawn Capital, Insight Partners, and Canvas Ventures.
According to insiders, this transaction was recently concluded and Shoreline's valuation in the transaction is approximately $100 million.
Nvidia's "Road to King"
In recent years, Nvidia has gradually become the core of computer systems required for creating and running artificial intelligence software.
Through cooperation and acquisition, Nvidia has been adding new features, including software, networks, pre trained artificial intelligence models, and other technologies. However, its acquisition cases of some startups are not always disclosed to the public.
In addition, Nvidia also hopes to diversify its revenue and reduce its heavy reliance on companies such as Microsoft and Amazon. The latter two companies dominate the global cloud computing industry, and Nvidia needs to collaborate with enterprises through them.

Nvidia, the newly crowned global stock king, has seen a staggering 173% increase this year, compared to Microsoft's 19% and Apple's 11% increase.
On the same day (Tuesday), HP Enterprise and Nvidia reached a partnership to jointly launch an artificial intelligence enterprise software to accelerate the generative artificial intelligence industrial revolution.
Antonio Neri, CEO of Huihe Technology, and Huang Renxun, CEO of Nvidia, attended the HPE Discover 2024 conference on Tuesday and announced the launch of a new artificial intelligence solution called "NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE". One of the main products of the solution is Huihe Private Cloud Artificial Intelligence, which is the first solution that deeply integrates Nvidia's artificial intelligence computing, networking, and software, as well as Huihe Technology's artificial intelligence storage, computing, and GreenLake cloud.
